Nate Hiebert joined Energy Strategies in 2021 and supports the firm in a variety of areas including regulatory, financial, and markets and transmission analysis. He applies his technical and analytical skills to guide clients through regulatory processes, develop financial models, and inform transmission planning strategies. 

While at Energy Strategies, Nate has supported a variety of clients to understand, strategize, and acquire interconnection and transmission service. He has experience evaluating the rate impacts of major transmission projects, administering open solicitations, and evaluating energy and environmental policy.

Prior to joining Energy Strategies, Nate was an engineer and project manager at a New York City engineering firm, where he managed the design of energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems in the built environment and served as a subject matter expert on energy and sustainability. Nate is also experienced in the oil & gas industry, having worked as an engineer and project manager in the development of oil production facilities in California.  Nate is an MBA and maintains a professional engineering license in the state of New York.
