Lance Felleson
Consultin Engineer
StafLance Felleson joined Energy Strategies in August 2025 as a Consulting Engineer. He supports the firm in the technical aspects of power system modeling, generator interconnection, and transmission planning as well as advisory support for Transmission Planning. Using a variety of programming tools, Lance compiles, interprets, and visualizes energy data for short- & long-term resource planning models. Prior to joining Energy Strategies, Lance was a Transmission Planner and Substation Engineer at PacifiCorp (Rocky Mountain Power) where he performed near- and long-term transmission planning studies, large generation interconnections and transmission service requests. He also developed Python automation scripts to streamline the study process. As his time as a Substation Engineer, he developed substation designs detailing equipment, layouts and connections. In the same role he served as a Project Engineer, coordinating the other departments (Communications, SCADA, Transmission, Civil, and Protection & Control), to provide completed construction documents to the field. Lance received a BS in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in power system analysis from the University of Utah.f Bio
