Consulting engineer
Ben Walborn joined Energy Strategies in July 2023 as a Consulting Engineer. He supports the firm in the technical aspects of power system modeling, generator interconnection, and transmission planning.
Prior to joining Energy Strategies, Ben was a Transmission Planner at Puget Sound Energy where he performed near- and long-term planning studies, with a focus on developing both wires and renewable solutions. Ben was responsible for creating a new generator interconnection study procedure for Qualifying Facilities. Before joining PSE, Ben received an MS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in power system dynamics and large power system analysis
